A Query that selects two other queries and subtracts them?

I am trying to make monthly performance, year-to-date performance and quarterly performance reports. The idea is to take the raw data from March, save it in as a query called March, and I have the raw data from February saved in a query called February. I know I can create a new query and pull in both March and February and subtract all the numbers in there, but how do I let the user choose which type of report, for example, Year-to-date as of March would be March minus December. Or even get performance from some other month, February minus January, for February performance?

Is there a way to make a query where you specify which queries it pulls into itself and subtracts?
