About Tools->Start-up option

*Can anyone tell me if or how to reffer to the options from Tools-->Startup in VBA code? I`m asking that because i want to open a database in different ways
taking in account the logged user.
*And another question: in access 2000 is possible to make .mde files? Because the option is dissabled in tools--> database utilities menu.

the DoCmd.RunCommand method runs a built-in menu or toolbar command, Although not all menu commands may be available and I suspect you may not be able to alter the start up parameters as by the time your code runs the startup parameters may have been executed. We await your test.

Yes, you should normally be allowed to create mde files in the 2000 version. I have next to no experience with them, but perhaps a bit more details? Does your code compile...
