The client has installed Access 2000 along with the older Access 97. I am starting on the great conversion adventure. Yipee !
First thing is to test some Acc97 apps running under Acc2K. So far I have made a shortcut to start Access2K - but - with an Access97 System.MDW
It appears to work.
Two little things:
1) the menu of recently opened databases appears and after I select one the Login window pops up. Just the reverse of what I would expect. Is that normal ?
2) when I open an Acc97 MDB a warning message comes up saying "you can't make changes to database objects". That's all right of course, but is there some way to suppress this warning ?
TIA,
RichM
