Access 2 and Windows XP

Does anyone know if access 2.0 will work with windows XP at all??

if it dosent work straight off, is there something you can do with with compatability mode, or is it a no hoper??

I have one customer running an access2 app on WinXP using the runtime version of Access2. Nothing special was needed to make it work. However he is a light user so probably hasn't given it a thorough test. I would be a lot better if you could pursuade your user to upgrade to a newer version of Access where you can guarantee compatibility.

we originally wrote the database way back when, and we have been asked by a third party if it would work.

I dont think they would swallow a quote of x thousand pounds to re-write it at the mo!
