Access 2003 User Defined Menu

Hi All,

I have a Database created in 2003 and locked down using a custom menu, bypasskey and startup options. Everything looks good until I save it as Access 2007 which is the new target OS for the applications. Firstly my user defined menu is gone and I now have gaping holes in my security.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

The user interface for toolbar and menu customizations is removed and replaced by the new ribbon.

Hi Insane_ai,

Thanks for your response, however I found the solution via the MSDN. I needed to have a toggle switch to turn off or on the properties as required. I defined a function to change the properties and presto it work
