All,

I am trying to figure out how to do the following

Flight mode
Zone HGR FFR FUL HUG JYT
Day 1.2 3.4
Night
NVG 1.3

The following is the data for this piece of data:

Type of aircraft: C-206;Bell 607;uh-1
Flight Mode: day;night;NVG
Zones: HGR;FFR;HUG;JYT;FUL
Supported Agency: Fire;Ambulance;Traffic;News ect..

All of these are factors and could be all supported on one flight in one day.

Any ideas,

Thank you

I am trying to account for flight time in a specific condition (Day, Night, NVG) in a specific Zone (ABC,DCG,CBG) for a specific amount of time (1.2, 2.3, 2.4) in one aircraft (FW, RW).

An example would be flew the fixed wind in sector (abc) day time for 1.0 hours Sector (DCG) night time .5 hours and sector (CBG) for 1.2 hours NVG upon returning flew sector (abc) for 1.0 hours NVG. The total hours flown was 3.7 hours.

I have a unique report ID and under that I have the following Data:

FW
Sector (abc) 1.0 Day 1.0 NVG
Sector (DCG) .5 Night
Sector (CBG) 1.2 NVG

I cannot figure out how to account for the multible data in a field, or how to account for it.

I can only go one deep.

For eaxample I can save Sector ABC 1.0 Day the rest of it is lost.

I have set up a table for Sectors: Mode of flight: Aircraft Type: (not sure how to do the flight time)

I can attach what I have so far if that would help?

Seems to me normalisation is the first thing you need to do.
Can you post what you have preferable in a Access 2003 format?

I am trying to map the spreadsheet with the database you posted. I can't figure it out.
Can you explain what every field: RGM, D-FW, D-RW, etc means? Just to get a clear picture.

yes,

RGM is the sector
D is the mode of flight
FW is type of aircraft
the boxes with numbers are the flight hours flown in the sectors

In one flight I have tried to group the following information on one form:

AOR Number
Crew:
PIC
SIC
Aircraft Type:
Agency Supported:
Up to 6
Mode of flight:
Could be all three D,N,NVG
Flight time for each agency
Could be all modes of flight for all agencies.

Does that clear it up?

Hi,

Didn't know what to do with your question so it had to wait.

In short:
You want to know the flight time of an aircraft in a specific zone during a specific flight.
Right? If not we're back at square one.

I want to leave the agency out of the equation because it only complicate things.

What is NVG?

The specific condition "Day" is a period between two time indexes. So if you store a timestamp you don't need to worry about the specific condition.

HTH:D
