Access 2007 Form Step 1

Greetings all,

Please be patient as I begin on the road to learning access 2007.

I need to create a data entry form from several different tables. Once the data is entered into the from it needs to update the relating tables.

I started with a blank form. What should the data source be? Do I create a query with the tables needing updating from the form information?

Getting me started is greatly appreciated.

Yes, sounds like you are on the right lines. Rlate the tables. Build a query to bring all the information you want to display or update together in one place. Create a form using the Wizard, not from scratch until you understand what you are doing. FIrst thing the wizard will do is ask you for the data source.

Then the fun really begins
