Access 2007 - Navigation Pane Is Locked. Please help.

How do you unlocked the navigation pane in MS Access 2007?

For some reasons, I just can't unlock or resize the navigation bar.

See attached picture for more info.

Please help.

Did it just start acting up or was it always this way? Do all db's act the same way or is it just this one?

I use to be able to resize the navigation bar ok, but a week ago it decided to lock itself. Other dbs appear to be fine.

Have you tried importing your db into a new db and then Compact and Repair?

I had just the same problem.

When this happens, just press F11 and you can resize it again.

FYI This is also a problem with Access 2010 the solutions still work.

I caused the problem by moving the divider between the navigation panel and the form/design/ panel to the left as far as it would go. I lost the "wide" line that I could use to make it wider again.

I was in a hurry (deadlines!) so tried exporting everything to a new database to continue on working. That was OK for then.

Today I had more time and went looking again for the real fix. And F11 is it.
