Hi
Just got Access 2007 and playing.
On surface looks good even if re-learning needed but suspect familiarity will come fast. I was surprised (and a bit daunted) to find when I put a button on a form it wants to do a macro but if I force an event then I get the VBA pane but just get Private Sub and End Sub.
Have peeked around but cannot see how to fit in the On Error, Err and Exit lines that used to fall into place automatically, and saved a lot of typing!
Cannot see anything in options. Can anyone point me?
Thanks

It seems to me that *only* wizards create the Exit: and OnError: code. I'm pretty sure MZ-Tools can easily add anything you want to your code and it's free!

When I tried adding a 2007 button it came up with the wizard by default. Maybe your "Use Controls Wizard" button is not depressed. If you add a button without the wizard and then click the elipsis next to the ON Click event, it will bring up a dialog that lets you choose between Macro Builder, Expression Builder, or Code Builder. And, if you do the drop down instead of the elipsis and choose Event Procedure then it will open up to the code window (if you choose the elipsis after selecting Event Procedure) and there will be nothing there - that is supposed to do that.

Thanks for suggestions. Just finally back in and too kna**ered to have a bash tonight but will hopefully get a chance to explore further tomorrow.
Will let you know how I get on.
