Access 2010 Web Database

Is there any way of localy hosting an Access 2010 web database without using sharepoint?

I want to create a database that I can update on any browser in the shop.

No, Access 2010 web applications require a SharePoint Server.

Aren't all the computers in "the shop" networked?

Ok thanks steve, I have now just decided to run it normally over the network and may get a web front end built eventually.

Fair enough. Web frontends are cool, and Access web application functionality is very exciting. But a web frontend can never compete with a desktop application for rich features, so I would expect only consider as a matter of necessity where local deployment is not possible.
