I have read Pat Hartmans very helpful ideas in relation to databases and Access 2013 with remote access.
" Publishing Access database on web. How and which way is best" - posted by Shutzy 9/9/2013. My question is a bit different hence the new thread.
I have a couple of quite complex databases each with a lot of vba code and user focused forms/menus. I have over the years moved away from macros and now use mostly code for the various aspects including buttons etc.
Currently I use dropbox which is a pain given the single user access.
I am very clear that the web app etc will not support this code etc.
My objective is to get multi user access in a web environment even if each PC requires access or individual front ends - possibly runversions but that might be pushing it.
So my questions are:
So in effect the App is simply a view and update mechanism.
Currently we have not used Sharepoint or any other intermediary software.
Thank you in anticipation

So my questions are:
Can I load my Access Database2010 to Office 365? and would this give me multi user access - this would be the answer to all my issues without designing an APP.
Can I build an App in 2013 which will access and update data within the 2010 application - All other consequential data updates, reports etc will then be undertaken from the 2010 database.? So in effect the App is simply a view and update mechanism.
