access 97 and 02

Hi,
I am using access97 at work and need to work on the same database at home, where I have the 2002 version.
Will I have any problem, or are they fully compatible?

Access 2002 can read Access 97 databases, but you cannot make changes directly to them. If you convert your Access 97 files to a format that Access 2002 can read, it will no longer be usable in Access 97.

How to solve this incompatability will depend on how you use your database. If you only want to view the data at home, then it's not a problem.

Hi Pat,

How do you convert an A2k db back to A97? The only way I've found is to import everything, so am interested in finding a short cut.
