Greetings,
I have two machines, a P3 600, and a P3 500 - both with the same versions of Windows XP installed, same updates, along with identical installations of MS Office 97 from the same CD.
MS Access works differently on the P3 500! Problems I encounter are:
-I cannot use the Date function!
-Suddenly Queries are of the nature that they don't allow record additions.
-I cannot enforce referential integrity in my relationships window.
Between the three.. the Database I need to run on this machine is rendered useless. I have tried reinstalling MS Office, no help.
Anyone got any advice? Perhaps there is some vital setting exterior to MS Office I am not aware of that effects its functioning?
I just feel like beating the hell out of my Computer when it does things like this... to me at least, completely inexplicable malfunctioning.
Argh! Hope to hear from you soon,
Hiero.
