Access auto populating text box based upon combo box

yakjockey,
Where are you located? I know high schools and colleges in the UK use Access to teach relational database design and even application design because we get a lot of questions from them. I would love it if US schools jumped on Access as a teaching tool also.

I'm located in Southern California...in the greater Los Angeles area.

I'm in the Computer Science department of one of the state universities. I didn't ask around too much, but I got the impression there weren't many (any?) faculty members in my department who were particularly strong in Access; perhaps there are more in the School of Business. But I could be wrong on both counts.

We teach database courses at various levels, but the first course is in data structures and emphasis is placed more on the data structures rather than commercially available database programs. I'm in another area, so they may also teach databases from the more practical point of view.

It would seem to me that Access could be used to easily present good examples of SQL since its so simple to create tables and relationships.

Now that you've raised the issue, I'll look deeper into the matter.
