Okay so I created a database inventory. I know I can turn it into a "application" making it a EXE file. I was wondering after that being done could I burn that into a CD? So it would boot from the CD. Pretty make it work like a program application as in word, excel, etc..

No you cannot turn it into an "application" because you can't turn it into an .exe. Access applications are stored within an Access database which cannot be converted to an .exe. You can "compile" the database and make it an .mde or .accde depending on your Access version and you can use the deployment wizard to bundle the application and any associated files into an .exe that can be distributed. But once the app is "installed", it is extracted as an .mde or .accde which is how it will appear on the client system.

Do not ever lose your .mdb/.accdb because you can't turn an .mde/.accde back into an uncompiled state and you will never be able to make design changes unless you can go back to the .mdb/.accdb.
