Access doesn't ask for username and password

I created security using the security wizards, separating admins vs. data entry users. I gave everyone a username and a password but when I reenter the database it doesn't ask me for my username or password. Does anyone know why or how can I fix it?

Your security is not setup right.

What is the name of your workgroup *.mdw file?
Where is the workgroup *.mdw file located?
What workgroup *.mdw file is your computer joined too?
How are you opening up the database? [custom shortcut, Windows Explorer]

Search the forum for there are a lot of threads discussing your problem and Access security is easy to mess up if you do not understand what you are doing.

The worst thing to do is use the wizard before reading the Notes on Security

Snd me an PM with and email address and I will send some documents that explain how wto do it properly
