Good morning,

I have an 2003 Access DB that we use to track Assets. It has a report which gets the data through a query. The query criteria comes from a form where the user can add all are some of the criteria. This all works fine on 4 of the 5 systems but on one we keep getting the message "this expression is typed incorrectly or it is too complex to be evaluated "
Can't figure out why only the one system creates this error.

Thanks for any help/ideas you my have.

Jerry

Thanks for your reply.

Yes they are all the same versions and language.

Very strange isn't it.

Jerry,

Have you tried entering the same criteria on all machines?

How is your database split?

Sorry I haven't responded for a few days. We were away.

Yes all of the data is the same. The DB is not currently split as we are still in development stage. We are going to try a new install to see if that helps.

I will let you know if that helps.

Thanks
Jerry

You will experience problems if you're accessing a non-split db from different locations.

I don't think re-installing MS Office (or Access) will help.
