In this session, we are very pleased to welcome Marcus Dieterle from Germany
Anyone who works with Access knows them all too well: MsgBox and InputBox. Functional? Yes. Modern, appealing or user-friendly? Unfortunately not.
These standard dialogs seem - let's say - a bit outdated. And if we're honest: Who actually reads these standard messages carefully anymore? Most people simply click on “OK” without even risking a glance.
Marcus will present his new dialogs. These are myMsgBox, myInputBox, myComboBox, and myNotification. These can be used to display not only formatted text, but also images and tables.
• MyMsgBox and myInputbox are alternatives to the standard dialogs.
• MyComboBox is similar to an InputBox, but allows you to select values from a combobox.
• MyNotification is a sleek and fast notification using an icon on the screen.
