I'm trying to have my database on a network, I copied it over to a a mapped network drive, on another users computer. We don't have an actual network server, but rather using one computers harddrive as a network space. When I try opening the file over the network I get an error saying it won't open cause its from an untrusted site, anyone know why this would be and what I can do to change it? Is this just my firewall settings, if so what would I change to correct this.
Thanks for any help.

Split the db into data and application and put a copy of the application on everyone's machine. Put the data mdb on the network machine and use the Linked Table Manager to link up the BackEnd data to the Application using UNC names and not mapped drive names.

thanks for the reply. I'll have to give that a shot.

If you are really curious, I believe that error is caused by InternetExplorer security settings; but you should still make the changes I recommended.
