access on pda/smart phone

i am trying to creat an application using access that i can transfer / use on a smart phone using windows mobile

There are third party databases available that will sync with Access but you will need to create a separate set of forms for use on the PDA. You can't just run the Access app on the PDA - that would be too easy. I won't swear to it but the Express version of SQL server may also run on the PDA but I don't know what you would use for forms in that case.

I looked at doing this with a Palm several years ago. Seems the best option I could find was to build it with a palm os database and save to .txt or csv. Then of course you could get to it via Access...
