Complain time.
The program min restore and close buttons become disabled while building a db. Sometimes it happens in the code window also. I am using a stand alone version of Access 2007 with a Student version of Office on Windows Vista Ultimate OS computer.
This is not critical, as I can close from the Office button, but it is annoying. This program freezes alot on me and I don't know if it is Windows...Access...or just some setting I have made properly. I have also had to do Ctrl+Alt+Del several times mainly coming from the code window.
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? I was thingking of just removing Access and reloading it but I don't want to lose one of my three abilities to reinstall software and have to call MS.
Another issue is the area above the program window is sort of opaque and when I have another Office program up the Working file titles get visually mixed up. I like my custom tool bar above the ribbon but when working with several Office programs at once that area is unreadable. Is there a program setting or something I am not seeing?
