I have created a runtime version of an Access 2003 database, when I open the runtime .exe on a pc without Access it brings up the security error message.

Normally I would resolved this by going to tools, macro, security on the menu bar and changing the security level to low. But as this is a runtime version I cant do this. Is their something that I need to change when creating the runtime version or is this common?

Expensive yet professional fix...purchase a digital certificate.

Cheap fix...alter the users registry keys that affect the Access 2003 Macro Security and Sandbox warnings.

The Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer Extensions Packaging Wizard has a section for altering registry keys but it does not work [I could not get it to work].

Thanks for your reply!

Not to get off topic, but can either of you walk me through the Language Cache install??? This thing is giving me fits. Also, if either of you figure out that registry key problem would you mind posting it? I have not actually gotten that far yet but once I get past this darn language problem I will get to that part next. Any idea on what the digital certificate would cost?

If I can remember the file required for the langauge is taken from the install cd, the file is called SetUp. Its been a while since I done it so this may not neccessarily be the case.
