I'm using the Access Developers Extension for the first time. If anyone knows of a good tutorial I would appreciate a link. My question of the moment: Can my runtime version run full screen with no toolbars?

Here's a link that I've found helpful when I started using the developers extensions ...particularly in designing the app for Acc Runtime. It's not a tutorial per se, but I think it will answer most of your questions:

Take note of the error handling as well.

runtime blues

Thanks for the link Chris, I'll check it out momentarily. New day, New problem. I successfuly used the Package Wizard today to create an error free setup package. It works fine on Win XP and Win 2000, but the Win98 and Win Me(surprise) test machines we have here give me this errror as soon as I run the CD: "The specified program requires a newer version of Windows"

I developed my dbase app on Win XP Pro, with MS Access 2003 & the Developers Extensions for Access. This is making more than a little nervous that the Runtime won't run on Win 98. Any insights?

TIA,
Mark

Sorry Mark,

I have the luxury of having all Win2k machines using my apps. I hope someone else here has the answer for you.

Chris

Presume its down to MS not supporting 98 & 95 anymore. The .NET stuff I'm TRYING to use is only good for 2k or better.
