Hi,
I have a bit of a problem with using the count option. Basically, i have a table with multiple fields. I pull down a date field, a user initials field, and an item number field.
I use the date field to select on the dates I want to report on and set the total to "where". I put in the initials of a particualr user that i want to report on and also set the total to where (as i just want a list of the items that user has worked on). I leave the item number field as group by so it shows each item number.
The query returns 53,345 results.
I changed the item number field to "count" just to check the total but it counted 61,855 results.
I cannot understand why the results are different so I tried to re-create the query in case I had made an error but the same thing happened.
Please could someone explain why this may be happening.
Regards
Pharaoh
