Hi peeps,
I was visiting these forums a few months ago and finally got my system up and running perfectly.
The problem now lies that when more than one person is using the program at a time, the slowdown is more than 50%. Some of the insert queries are taking up to 10 seconds to execute.
With one person working on it the queries are almost instant, but this is getting beyond a joke.
Can anyone suggest a way to stop the slow down, I'll try and post some code/sample if neccesary.
Secondly, my program has one command which connects to MS Word, outputs a whole heap of data using sendkeys, and then closes the connection.
I find though on one of my users PC's that she has to restart access completely after each "Process" of word, or else it will not connect a second time.
Can anyone shed any light on this one please?
Thanks for your time,
