Hi peeps,

I was visiting these forums a few months ago and finally got my system up and running perfectly.

The problem now lies that when more than one person is using the program at a time, the slowdown is more than 50%. Some of the insert queries are taking up to 10 seconds to execute.

With one person working on it the queries are almost instant, but this is getting beyond a joke.

Can anyone suggest a way to stop the slow down, I'll try and post some code/sample if neccesary.

Secondly, my program has one command which connects to MS Word, outputs a whole heap of data using sendkeys, and then closes the connection.

I find though on one of my users PC's that she has to restart access completely after each "Process" of word, or else it will not connect a second time.

Can anyone shed any light on this one please?

Thanks for your time,

Hi Wizardx8,

I tought your application maybe grow-up and too big, I suggest you try to compact the database, how..?

Tools - Database Utilities - Compact & Repair.

After you make compact & repair try to make your application to MDE. how...?

Tools - Database Utilities - Make MDE file.

Other ways, look into the query maybe have something complecated instruction from code. Try make Debug your code, may be there have some error.

For the second problem, I think maybe the MS word application dll file have been corrupted. I suggets try to install back the MS Word. or look into the sendkey instruction may be the MS Word application wrong path.

Hopefully can solve your problem.

Best regards,
