Hi Guys,

I've been sampling a few software possibilities for a project I am thinking of carrying out.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to

-Connect to an Access database over the Web
-View data from the database via a website
-Add/Edit data via a website.

Many Thanks,

Loo

Microsoft Visual Web Developer!

Hi Loo

I have just recently started a similar project and have no previous knowledge of web databases (data driven websites).

I have found an amazing piece of FREE software you can download now off microsoft. Its called Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express and it is a web development software similar to frontpage so it is all WYSIWIG, but its focus is on letting you link websites to databases.

It is sooo easy I cant believe it, and i cant do any coding what so ever and managed to learn the software in a couple of days just messing around on it!

Let me know how you get on with it!

James

Ok - Thankyou for the reply!

I'll check that out - What I am planning to do is to create a sort of online application form which submits data into the Access database. Hope this is possible!
