I have been working on this database for a few months now (it's quite the work in progress!) and since putting it on a network 2 days ago all of a sudden I've developed an error. Whenever I try to use a certain form I get the message that "an application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated". The specific error is in MSACCESS.EXE and says Exception: access violation(0xc0000005), Address: 0x0402d00e.
Like I said, it appears to be caused by one form only, and the obvious solution seems to be to delete the form and start again. My problem is that this is a fairly complex form and I've got a few backups that I'd like to try and use, but everytime I go to import from the backup (not on the network) I still get the error. Is there a way around this? Even when I try to rename the bad form and then import I get the same thing.
As for the error itself, I suspect that there was some sort of glitch in my connection to the network that scrambled things. Would that make sense?
Has anyone else had this error and come through more or less unscathed?
