Hello all,

I have a MS Access 2003 and MS Outlook 2003. I have an Access database, where I have a form which I use to automate a process to send emails through outlook and I attach a 'report' with that email. The thing is this report is sent as SNP format, I am wondering if it is at all possible for the attachment to be in PDF format (not in snp format)?

By the way, can MS Access 2007 email-send pdf attachments? because I know Acces 03 does not have the option to email-send pdf attachments?

have you got Adobe PDF writer? if not, then you can't do it

so I am assumign ADOBE PDF Write, inbeds itself into access, so that when I am doing my vba code, PDF will become an accepted format?

if this is indeed the case, then I will try to get adobe pdf writer

in 2003, yes

you print to an Adobe printer with VBA

in 2007 you get to save as PDF for free...

Is there a free pdf program, that behaves just like the "Adobe PDF Writer" does? specifically for what I am trying to accomplish?

I know there are tons of PDF programs out there, but finding one that is free and will work for me, is a little difficult especially when I am not too sure as to what I need to look for.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Sure CutePDF will work?
I saw CutePDF also has a nother program that is not free, called "PDF Writer".

This is exactly what I need by the looks of it, except this is not a free program, "PDF Writer"
some of its specifications:
A. Allow developers to integrate PDF creation on the fly.
B. Dramatically reduce development costs. Especially for FoxPro, Access database application. Think how hard it will be to create PDFs object by object using other PDF library

This is exactly what I am looking for! if only it were free heh ;o

However, I am downloading "CutePDF Writer", hopefully it will have those functions.

why not download Access 2007, it writes to PDF and is free...but it runs out in a month or so, is it an on going thing?
