Accessing an Outlook Template from Access

Hi there,

I am not the best in Access, I will admit. But need a function to open up a MS Outlook template (.oft file) within Access which is hosted on an internal server. Anyone help with quick steps on how to do this, It would be greatly apprciated.

Hi,

I'm not an expert in Outlook VBA but I have used some info found on the site below. The link is one I've found useful for creating new emails with attachments. Sue Mosher has her own web site with some free VBA code. You have to register to look at it but worth it.

I have the email with the attachment saved, just dont know how to link to it in Access to having it working.

I just want like a simple button, when clicked it opens the outlook email template i have created???

I'm feeling a bit misty here but can't you specify a template in docmd.SendObject ?
