add field with new data

Say I wanted to create a field with new data on a form.. should I just copy one of the others and rename it or use the option group? But when I do that in Design view.. It is not reflected in the Database view. Also, setting the tabs go from one field to another field in a particular order ( I rearranged the form)?

I am a bit unclear about your first question but if you want to add a new field to a form and you want the data saved in your table then you have to add a field to the table first. Create the new field in the form by dragging it from the Field List.

Tab order - In design view click the View menu > Tab Order. Arrange your tab order there.

I don't particulary want to save the new info on the table, just get it on the form. Maybe my foundation is wrong, but I only used the table to start the form. Now that it's running, I just want to be able to add, subtract fields.. edit as needed.
And, what is the "field list" you're referring to that I'm suppose to be dragging.

Sorry, but I don't really understand what you are trying to do with the adding and editing fields on a form. You don't need any table to create a form as you can add as many unbound fields as you like. The Field List is an icon on the Format tool bar...
