Here's a curveball. I have a subform detailing a person attached to a record. I want to attach another person to this record. Can a button add more space to the main form, and put in another of the same subform?
The entire point in having a Main Form/Subform scenario is to be able to to have multiple Records in the Subform 'attached' to a Record in the Main Form. You don't 'add' a second Subform, you simply add another Record to the existing Subform!
Ah I see!! That is brilliantly simple! However, it does require a many-to-many relationship doesn't it? How can I represent this?
In my case it is a form showing details of an insurance policy. Each insurance policy can have up to 3 advisors, and each advisor will have many policies. Access automatically thinks this is a one-to-many relationship. How can I make it many-to-many?
Ok sorry I should have researched more. I've found the way to create this relationship is with an intermediate table. Seems cumbersome, but looks like the only way.
