add new record to main form & sub form

I have a simple main form for customer info with sub form for payments. I get the following message "A problem occurred while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control." when I add a new customer in the main form and attempt to add a payment in the sub form. After hitting the OK to the error message, it allows me to continue entering the payment record successfully. How do I correct this problem? This error only occurs when creating a new customer record with a new payment record.

Problem solved. In the subform, I set the Navigation Buttons to No.
