I have searched (not knowing what to search for), tried Access help and most importantly experimented, but alas no luck.

I have a header section and body/main section of a form.

I want the background image to fill the body/main section only, but instead it seems to cover the whole form, including the header section.

Is it possible to limit an image to the body section of a form only.

Thank you in advance

Have you considered inserting an "image" control to the form and enlarging it to the required size. (linked not embedded ;) )

Just a thought....

Never tried this, but here is what you look for... you should be able to decide this for yourself once you read this.

A form has the potential for several distinct display areas, and some of them (I know for a fact) have the ability to have separate pictures. Pages on a tab control can have one picture per page. AC97 Help tells you this much.

The areas that apply to a form are the form as a whole, the tab pages, page footers, page headers, form footers, form headers, and form details. SO... when designing the object in question, see if the object has a .Picture property. If it does, you can a separate picture there. If it does not, you cannot. It is that simple.

So get into design mode, select the area you want to have a picture, open the area's properties, and see what it has.

Now... if you get a little "spill" into an alternate area and that area has a .Picture property, create a blank .BMP (or .WMF... Paint will allow alternate output formats.) Make that blank file your backgroup picture for the selected areas.
