His is itpossible to make abutton in access and then assign a equation to it to add the dat in two of the fields together, for example adding the "stock level" and the "re-order level together? ifso could some please tell me how greatly appreciated cheers

If you make the re-order level field a calculated field, based on the stock level
field, you will only need to enter the stock level with new data and have the
re-order field automatically updated.
That would save you from putting data in two fields at the same time .
