Adding new data

Hello all,

I would like to "bulk" update my records - but don't know how to do this at all.

I have a two tables: one is a car table and the other is a jobs table.

Each time a job gets done to a car, the users add the job to the job table. The relationship is one to many (each car can have many jobs.)

What I would like to do is this: say that all Toyota cars have new wheels put on and also new radios fitted, how can I update this information in one go?

Do I use append query?

I really dont know where to start!

If you're trying to add these as jobs to the jobs table, then you do need to use an append query. Look up the topic in the Access online help.
