adding time

i have a field where i input a length of an mp3 i.e. 4:12 for example.

Now how can i add this field for some records keeping in mind that the decimal part have to ne up to 60 rather than 100 i.e 4:12 + 4:49 = 9:01 and not 8:61

Does this require a lot of vb code ?
