Hi

I would like the database to look professional, but all of the themes i've seen on access are quite generic and block colour.

Can anyone suggest any tips to improve how it looks?

Thanks

WB

That's about the vaguest question I've seen posted on this site :)

You might want to consult the MS website about form design guidelines.

It's not always about the colours that are available that matters, although a good number of colours always comes in handy.

A good blend of colours would help to improve the looks and feel of your db, but don't over-do it. Also things like borders (in terms of thickness/width, colour, visibility), and "auxilliary" controls like lines and boxes are good tools too.

Let's not forget too, positioning of your controls does matter too :)
