Hello all,
As most people have, I searched the forum and online microsoft help but was unable to find a post relevant to what I'm attempting.
I have a form with 4 text fields (Seis Survey Name, Seis Line ID, Seis Line Name, and Area Name) that allow a user to enter in a search critera, hit the search button and get their results. Using what the user enters I pass the input to a Select query. Now this query displays a number of fields from 4 joined tables (seis_line, seis_srvy, data_item and seis_line_seg).
I would like the users to be able to update some of the data being displayed, but I would like to disable record inserts and deletes.
I did disable the forms properties (Allow Deletions/Additions) to 'No', but because I pass it to query I don't think the properties are passed to the datasheet displaying the query results.
Is there a way to do this, or am I floundering? It seems so simple in theory.
A puzzled new access user.
