Haven't done any access work for ages so am feeling rather rusty. However I've just thrown a tab control on a form and I want it to blend into the background. Tab controls don't have a background colour property? Transparent isn't making it transparent. Now I can't even remember if its possible. How do I do it?

Thanks in advance

Dan

Ok forget that. I wasn't being (too) thick though why the **** isn't it a standard option to change the colours?

My guess is that it builds the pcs of the tabs out of imbedded graphics instead of common graphical elements like lines and boxes. Basically using bitmaps instead of vector stuff.

Make sense?

hehe cheers ken but no doesn't make any sense to me. but then I am just a simple boy from a simple town. Thanks for the reply though.

Tab controls get their color from your Windows theme. Most of the time, that makes tab controls gray.

I'll be darn, from the 3D Objects item. Cool. Blows my bitmap/vector theory...
