Hi,
This is my first post, previously I have always found an answer in the search.

I want a query to join tables: sales receipts, purchase payments, wage payments, all left Outer joined to bank transactions table.

At the moment I have 3 separate queries to show sales receipts joined to bank transactions , purchase to bank trans. and wage to bank trans, all one to one relationship.
The bank transaction table is the only table I can join these 3 tables with using the foreign keys. I have tried to join a query to a query but there still remains ambiguous outer joins.
I want to view ALL payments with and without bank transactions, so when a cheque clears, I can update the ID with the banked date, and more importantly, I can sub total each payment so as to balance, reconcile with my original bak statement.

My year end accounts will be a piece of cake this way.
Do I need to use a union query?

Please help!

Simon

Ok, i've changed the joins to right join from bank transactions to the other 3 tables. This at least does show all the payments made with bank info.
But it doesn't show all the payments before bank trans.

I can now use the 3 separate queries to include ALL the payments for each separate table, update the payments which have cleared through the bank, and then open the new query to show all 3 tables with the bank transactions. I can now sub total all bank trans to balance with my bank statement.

This does solve my problem, but I still would like to know if its possible to include more than 1 left outer join from the same table.

regards
