Hi all!
An Access 2k nightmare that I'm living thro' right now. I have about 20 forms and lots and lots of VBA code in my project. All I did was put in some canned code from MS KnowBase to disable the mouse whell scrolling feature. Since then my entire application started to behave strangely.
It crashes just when it feels like and says an error log is created. Does anyone know where the error log resides?
When i select a form and go view-code, my VBA editor comes up but, does'nt let me make changes to any code!!!!! YES !!! serious. I am also missing the left hand side project explorer bar completely.
I do not have a backup of all my work. PLEASE HELP !!!!
regards

Try importing all your forms, tables, etc. into a new database but leave out the module with the code that you think is causing the problem. It may take some fiddling to get your db back but since you have no backup you haven't much choice...

Thanks a lot mate! Yes you were spot on. I had to export the forms individually to a new db minus the screwly module + class module and it works now. Its funny how access gets all confused just because you have these problematic classes/modules and even though you don't reference them in your application, it C*R*A*S*H*E*S
thanks again
regards
