Another date one

I have a Db used to record local rainfall which so far is working great. One report I like to use is that of monthly rain and occasionally we have a month with zero precipitation. When I report on the various months the odd one with zero is just not in the report as zero only those that had precipitation. Can anyone suggest how I can find the months with zero?

If you have records, but the rainfall value is Null, then you can use the
IIf function to force it to return 0 for that record.

IIf(IsNull([SomeField]), 0, [SomeField])

I only record precipitation on dates when it falls, thus for the months nothing falls I have nothing recorded at all. In my reports I group on months but if any month has zero precipitation nothing will show because I haven't entered any data. If I were to separate the months from beginning date to the present date & extract the months with zero, or nulls, would that do it & if so can you (or anyone else) suggest a method?
