Hi! I've had a quick look through the existing threads and I think the problem I have is ever so slightly different....
I've got a macro that runs a load of code and queries to update my database every month. It worked fine last month, but now when I come to run it I get error 2950, which I believe is something to do with the trust center settings.
Now, I've not had to mess about with this up until now as everything seemed to work OK. The macro pops the error up on a runcode line, so I put the folder (and its subfolders) in the trusted locations in the trust center. Still doesn't work.... If I run the code from the VBA window myself it runs OK, and if I take the runcode line out of the macro, all the other queries work no probs. Any ideas?
I had a look in the registry as per accessjunkie's FAQ, but there isn't an Access folder where he/she says it should be ([HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted Locations\Location0]) - I have "Common" under 12.0 and nothing else.... but why would this have changed (if that's the problem)? Beats me!
I'm running W7 Enterprise and Office 07.
