Hi Everyone.

Can anyone assist. I really stuck and got no idea at the creation of Purchasing & Inventory Software.

If anyone have ever written this program, can you list down as attachment (Structure Only). So that I can refer from there.

Thank you

Regards,

Good Luck

So why not buy something off the shelf? Considering the time and salary it will take for someone to muddle through development.

I developed a custom app for a manufacturing company that took 6 months to develop and test before going live and have continued to maintain and refine and add features to it for the last two years, and I'm not that willing to just upload the source to the www.

This forum is for those that have specific questions or comments and are willing to contribute back to the community not pilage someone elses hard work.

I don't mean to sound negative but if you aren't qualified to take on such a project then... don't.

Thank you for your kind compliment.

I'd write it.

I'd write it. Buy an Access Bible Gold Edition for the version you are using, and you will be an expert by the time you are through...

I would consider the following:

1) Access contains wizards to create an inventory and an ordering application

2) Northwind Traders contains a great deal of relevant stuff on handling orders and products

3) Inventory and ordering are regulars on this forum, try a search

4) Inventory, although a popular choice for first time programmers, is quite a complex matter to handle in Access, or indeed any db environment

5) The people that frequent this forum are mostly earning their living from Access. As a group, they are amazingly tollerant and helpful, but sometimes you have to remember that just saying "hey, do my job for me" is a bad way to start. If you had sketched out a structure, and asked for comments, you might have found a better response.

Good luck, anyway.
