I have created a table by importing a weekly Excle report file with no headers. The Excel file has a range for the data that I want to bring in and I select that on importing.
I get the standard message that "The first row contains data that can't be used for valid Access field names". The first field is thus named "Field1" by default (and each subsequent field the next number up.
I attempt to import the next week's file and append to that table and I get the message that "Field F1 doesn't exist in destination table 'FILE NAME'. What is this "F1" field as the first upload didn't create F1. I do get back results in "Import Errors" about F2 and F9, but no data is brought in.
My goal is to get the last 40 weeks into one file but this is preventing me from proceeding.
