appending table in access from excel, excel file name change everyday with date

Hi There,
I am very new to access and have learnt all by myself so far. I want to automate import from excel and append in to my table in access.
What I am trying to do:
1.I have excel file automatically saved as yesterday's date in YYYYMMDD.xlsm
2. in this Excel file, I want to import data from Column B to J and append in to Master_tbl in access.
3. Wile importing , I want to add yesterday's date in to date filed in Master_tbl.
4. I want this to be done automatically everyday without user intervention.

Please bear in mind, I am very new to Access.

Have Access generate the requisite (dated) table name, link such Excel sheet (table) to Access and use an update query to append the Excel table data to your Access tabel.
