Application Discussion group

Hi,

it might be great to have a discussion group solely for the purpose of programmers to showcase / display their applications that they may want to sell / give away for free etc. there are a lot of programmers here and its very hard to find a good place to advertise your applications in line. Here, there would be the immediate exposure to the very people who would be looking for such programs.

you could start your posts with

#PAID# Thread title describing your application

or

#FREE# Thread title describing your application

or

#SHOWCASE# Thread title describing your application

Hi RainLover,

i disagree. The threads in the Reference area are for code samples, sample databases and repositories. The files posted there are 'parts' or 'modules' not specifically a programmer showcasing his / her hours of good work on a fully fledged and finished product. I was suggesting an area for programmers to explicitly showcase what they write / make to sell, give, show, demo whatever but not to act a sample area.....

You have posted in the right place, so if it gets the support you want then I am sure Jon will consider it.

It may be a good idea. Perhaps you should promote your idea by detailing your concept a little better.
