hi guys

can anyone explain to me how i can get a query with specific information including a date field to start april the 1st as week 1 and month 1

please bear in mind i am new to access and need it in simple terms

Will doing a Dateadd, and then -3 months do the trick for you?

YourNewField: Dateadd(YourDatefield, "M",-3)

Or something alike I am to lazy (too) to google DateAdd or to look in the access help.

THis then results in 01-Apr-2010 turning into 01-Jan-2010
Then if you use the normal date functions like Month (again google/help will save your day) it will return Month 1
