Arrow key behavior

Despite have set the 'Arrow key behavior' to 'Next character' in the Options panel, I can still move between the text boxes on my forms using the arrow keys. It's quite annoying.

Are there some other settings/options I need to use? Or do I have have to use code for this? And if so, what would that code be, and where should I put it?

i just did an experiment with this. when i used "next character", the left and right arrows would move to the next field after the chars were gone through, but if i put it on "next field", the right and left arrows don't do anything. is that what happens for you?

if that is not the answer, i would maybe guess that is has something to do with the cycling of the form. are you cycling the current record or all of the records?

That is weird. I also tried to set the behaviour to 'Next field' in stead, and now the arrow keys only work within a field. I can't move to the next field. It seems like the behavior for the arrow keys are doing the opposite as was they are set to do in the Options panel.

But I will leave it with that for now. I got the behaviour as I wanted
