Hi,

Is it possible to attach an image to an excel cell?

What I need is for the first time I use the Excel file, I select say British Gas from a drop down, then I browse and attach an image to the cell. So the image relates to the company name.

Then next time I use the file, and a new comparison is made, when I select British Gas from the menu, the image automatically populates in the cell?

Is it possible? What image attaching options do I have?

Cheers

Click on the cell in which you want to insert a picture. Enlarge the cell to the image width by mousing over the right edge of the column header and clicking and dragging the column wider. Do the same for the cell height by clicking and dragging on the bottom edge of the cell row.

2 Choose the "Insert" menu and select "Picture From File" to display the Insert Picture dialogue. Browse to the file that you need and double-click it. The dialogue closes and the picture appears with its upper-left corner matching the upper-left corner of the cell.
